It enables stomp guaranteed chain lightning. It enables stomp guaranteed lesser healing wave. Tauren is far and away the better pvp choice if ele or resto it's not even close.
BEST SHAMAN FULL
The thing is shaman already are very strong against rogues if you have a shield equiped and full mail which you would be assuming pvp. Stun resist very strong against rogue, and to a lesser extent warriors and paladins. This guy doesn't know shaman, he just knows orc is strong. TLDR: Please help with the bolded questions I know many say that racials are negligible, but I have a hard time believing so, even if minuscule. But I care most about which one will be better for me as an ele/resto pvp'er. I like both races lore and aesthetics about the same, maybe a verrryy tiny edge to Tauren for shaman. But for ele and resto, would the increased Tauren melee range be a sizeable deficit for kiting effectively? With this in mind, it seems that you could argue this aspect as a wash for enhancement since you will be using your axe. I know that it means the melee range for both attacking and being attacked is increases. Is rolling a massive Tauren just painting yourself as an easy target for PVP? Will you be noticeably harder to target as an Orc? As for the Tauren range, I am slightly confused by the physics. Then there is the less talked about aspect of the Tauren- size and range. So how would you rate warstomp as a racial compared to hardiness for pvp as an ele sham that will take up engi? I've also read that as an ele sham you shouldn't be anywhere near the enemy to even be able to use warstomp. Then I'll see that it's overrated and doesn't provide any more usefulness than grenades would. It provides shaman a hard cc that they're otherwise lacking. I see that a lot of people seem to think that it is amazing for pvp because of the combo potential with totems and casts, and acting as an interrupt for casters, or a defense tactic against melee. Tauren has the + hp, which is nice for pvp and pve. Does this downplay the usefulness of hardiness? However, I've seen that shaman get a trinket that removes stuns. Axe specialization and blood fury will help with leveling but will drop off in usefulness in end game. Orc is pretty straightforward- hardiness is great for the stun resist, especially in pvp. Trying to figure out what race is going to fit my play style best with a priority in pvp skills. I plan on leveling as enhancement, then respeccing into ele/resto for endgame raiding and pvp. I've narrowed it down to Orc or Tauren (sorry Trolls), but still can't decide. I've been having a ton of back and forth as to what race I should choose for shaman.
